Worked example: planning a year of weekly resources
A fictional publication maps 52 weeks of resources against three reader needs. The method, step by step.
This worked example follows a fictional newsletter, The Weekend Gardener, as it plans a year of weekly resources. The publication is invented; the method is the one we use ourselves.
The starting point
The editor has a free weekly issue and wants to add one resource each week: a guide, template or checklist that readers can keep. The goal is a library that is still useful in a year, not 52 disconnected posts.
